Job description

Are you detail-oriented with experience in the window, glazing, or architectural glass industry? We are leading the recruitment for a well-known local glass and façade manufacturer in the Stouffville area that is delivering cutting‑edge projects across commercial and architectural sectors.

You’ll support the project team to keep everything running smoothly — from shop drawings and purchasing to fabrication and site coordination.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist Project Managers (PM) & Design Engineers (DE) with shop drawings and material reviews.
  • Ensure aluminum and glass materials are ordered early to meet timelines.
  • Prepare & track submittals and samples in Sage 100.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier communication.
  • Update project schedules in Microsoft Project for fabrication and installation.
  • Attend production/site meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and site instructions in Sage.
  • Support quality control and ensure installations meet spec.
What You Bring:
  • 2–5 years in glass, glazing, or window manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of glass fabrication (cutting, laminating, tempering, etc.).
  • Skilled with Sage 100 & Microsoft Project.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication & problem‑solving skills.
  • Must have a Valid G license for site visits.
