We are currently seeking a qualified Project Coordinator to join our Mining team based out of Saskatoon SK. As the Project Coordinator working in an Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) within the Owners team. Bantrel is working with KS Potash (KSPC) as an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) to expand the KSPC Bethune Potash Mine in near Moose Jaw Saskatchewan from 2.2 to 3.0M tonnes per annum over the next 5 years. The final production capacity is intended to grow over decades to 4M tonnes per year doubling the current production output of potash. a major capital project within an EPCM this role you will provide coordination ensuring seamless communication and documentation flow between engineering procurement and vendor teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development review and timely delivery of vendor equipment packages.
• Facilitate communication between engineering procurement and vendors to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Monitor documentation workflows to ensure compliance with QA / QC procedures and project standards.
• Support RFQ preparation bid evaluations and procurement documentation.
• Maintain organized project records schedules and SharePoint repositories.
• Ensure documentation is available and properly formatted for design reviews.
• Collaborate with designers and discipline leads to integrate vendor data into engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with APEGS or another Canadian provincial association.
• 57 years of experience in coordination or design support roles within EPCM EPC engineering consulting or construction. Experience with mining industrial and / or oil & gas projects will be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of vendor equipment packages technical documentation and procurement workflows.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and keep projects on track.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel SharePoint); experience with AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar tools is an asset.
