Job summary

A global risk management firm is seeking experienced Project Co-ordinators for assignments in Ontario. You will handle crisis situations such as labour disruptions and have to work long hours, sometimes up to 12-hour shifts. Candidates must possess leadership skills and prior experience in military, emergency management, or law enforcement. Competitive pay of $25-$30 per hour plus allowances for travel and lodging are provided.

AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Project Co-ordinators for upcoming assignments in Ontario related to labour disruptions, organized protests and man made crisis / disasters.

This position will require you to work up to 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn :

• $25-$30 per hour before over-time
• Paid travel up to 4 hours
• Hotel accommodation provided when required
• $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
• Temporary Contracts : 1-120 days

AFIMAC Project Co-ordinators are deployed to various types of assignments including :

• Labour Disruptions
• Organized protests
• Man made crisis / disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must be able to meet the following criteria :

• Former military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement experience required. (Industry experience would also be considered)
• Able to travel
• Work away from home for extended deploymentsExcellent organization and computer skills
• Able to work in a high stress environment

• Be on call nights and weekends
• Able to deploy on short notice –as projects dictate
• Ability to manage clients that are at a senior manager / executive level

Experience :

• Project management or Emergency management : 1 year (preferred)
• Military or Law Enforcement : 1 year (preferred)

Language :

• English (required)

Licence / Certification :

• Private Investigator License (preferred)
• Class G Drivers License (required)
