Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Piping Isometric Coordinator to support nuclear project delivery, focusing on isometric coordination, tracking, and reporting. You will manage ISO releases, develop dashboards, and drive workflows with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes data management, real-time status tracking, and proactive stakeholder follow-up to ensure on-time release. A 0–2 year background in a technical/coordinating role is preferred, with strong Microsoft tool proficiency.

  • Diploma, certification, or University degree or equivalent academic experience with 0-2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or coordination-focused role.
  • Willingness to develop technical skills on the job with coaching and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools for dashboards, reports and graphs; strong data interpretation and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate isometric drawing (ISO) release for fabrication and construction with piping designers and cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain ISO trackers and master Excel files reflecting real-time status of deliverables.
  • Generate daily/weekly status reports, dashboards, and progress metrics for ISO release.
  • Track line lists against ISO generation status, revision status, holds, and release readiness.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to close open items and ensure timely release.
  • Interpret isometric drawings, basic piping layouts, and P&IDs to understand scope and dependencies.
  • Coordinate inputs (markups, stress comments, supports, MTO, QA checks) before release.
  • Coordinate with document control for proper issuance and transmittal of drawings.
  • Maintain electronic project information and QA-compliant file structures.
  • Support vendor drawing reviews and track comments/resolutions related to ISO deliverables.
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams across project phases; demonstrate teamwork and ownership.

Overview

Candu Energy Inc./AtkinsRéalis Nuclear Inc. is actively seeking Piping Isometric Coordinator to support engineering delivery for nuclear projects including new builds, refurbishments, and plant modifications.

Your role

Typical duties and essential functions will include, but are not limited to, the coordination, preparation, and management of the following:

  • This position requires working on fast-paced, technically complex projects in the nuclear industry with a strong focus on isometric coordination, tracking, and reporting. This is a detail-oriented coordination role, ideal for individuals who enjoy managing data, trackers, and driving workflow completion.
  • Coordinate isometric drawing (ISO) release for fabrication and construction by working closely with piping designers and cross-functional teams.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously update ISO trackers and master Excel files to reflect real-time status of deliverables.
  • Generate daily/weekly status reports, dashboards, and progress metrics for ISO release.
  • Track line lists against ISO generation status, revision status, holds, and release readiness.
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders (designers, stress, supports, layout, document control) to close open items and ensure timely release.
  • Have the ability to interpret isometric drawings, basic piping layouts, and P&IDs to understand scope, completeness, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholder to ensure all required inputs (markups, stress comments, supports, MTO, QA checks) are incorporated before release.
  • Coordinate closely with document control for proper issuance and transmittal of drawings.
  • Maintain electronic project information and file structures in accordance with established procedures and QA requirements.
  • Support vendor drawing reviews and track comments/resolutions related to ISO deliverables.
  • Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, ownership, and persistence in driving tasks to completion.
  • Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks and elevate proactively.
About you
  • Diploma, certification, or University degree or equivalent academic experience with 0-2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or coordination-focused role.
  • Willingness to develop technical skills through on-the-job experience, coaching, and training to achieve higher competency.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft tools for developing dashboards, reports, and graphs and have strong capability in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Someone who is passionate about coordination, tracking, and reporting, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage large datasets, multiple revisions, and complex trackers.
  • This is a dedicated coordination and tracking-focused position, requiring a strong interest in data management, reporting, and workflow coordination. It is ideal for candidates who enjoy owning and maintaining trackers, dashboards, and status reporting systems, and want to build depth in this area.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required inputs, clarify scope, and ensure alignment across disciplines.
  • Excellent coordination and rigorous follow-up skills with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
