A regional organization in Iqaluit is seeking a Project Coordinator – Early Childhood to manage the Health Service Integration Fund Project. The role involves project management, writing reports, and developing frameworks in collaboration with various stakeholders. Candidates must have strong project management and writing skills, with preference for Inuit individuals enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement. Starting salary is $72,440 per annum plus allowances.
Under the direction of the Director of Social and Cultural Development Department, the Project Coordinator – Early Childhood will be responsible for managing NTI’s Health Service Integration Fund Project (HSIF) project in the area of Early Childhood Development and Education. The Coordinator will be required to write an analysis report summarizing current barriers and challenges in the area and develop a framework for action to address the identified needs in partnership with Government of Nunavut departments, Inuit organizations, and other partners or stakeholders as required.
This position requires an individual who is a self-starter, has highly developed project management skills, possesses strong writing skills, policy analysis skills, and planning and research skills. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work within a team environment are required. The Coordinator must have the ability to work with demanding deadlines under high levels of stress, and be able to travel. Preference will be given to Inuit who are enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.

Starting salary is $72,440.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) and a Northern Allowance and Housing Allowance of $24,000.00 per annum.
