As a Project Coordinator working in our Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage several activities and deadlines to gain a clear understanding of client, team, and project needs. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion – you will play a crucial role in stakeholder communications, resource management, and administrative tasks. This role primarily supports the Acadia Student Union Building Project on site in Wolfville, NS.

What You Will Do
  • Assist the project team with project coordination and administrative support, paying close attention to detail.
  • Ensure open communication lines with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to enhance client service.
  • Review, interpret, and update construction schedules diligently.
  • Maintain, review, and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notices, quotes, and project completion documents.
  • Review and analyze project quotes to find the best market prices.
  • Collect and complete company-wide project reports for your assigned projects.
  • Promote safety standards by modeling adherence to Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes on-site with employees and trade partners.
This Role Could Be For You If You Have
  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • A University Degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Proven experience in project coordination and teamwork.
  • A passion for providing exceptional client service.
