Our Transmission group is currently looking to add a Project Coordinator to our growing team, based in Western Canada (Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg).

The Project Coordinator supports the project team in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that project documentation, schedules, materials, and communication flow smoothly between field operations, the project management team, clients, and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

The majority of time will be spent on project sites throughout North America on a rotational schedule (for example 18/10 or 28/14) with paid accommodations, per diem, vehicle, and flights provided. When not supporting active projects, the position will be office based.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in the coordination and tracking of project deliverables, schedules, and budgets
  • Prepare, review, and distribute project documents including RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Maintain up-to-date project files and logs (drawings, specifications, correspondence, permits, etc.) both digitally and physically
  • Support procurement by obtaining quotes, tracking material orders, and ensuring timely delivery to site
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve logistical or administrative issues
  • Track daily reports, equipment usage, and time entries from field crews to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support job cost reporting and assist with invoice verification, coding, and payment tracking
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, safety documentation, and quality control records
  • Schedule and attend project meetings, record minutes, and follow up on outstanding action items
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a construction or project administration role
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar)
