AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a motivated Project Controls Intern to support schedules, costs, and reporting in a fast-paced PMO.

This Winter 2027 co-op placement offers real hands-on experience for students or recent graduates. You will work with Primavera P6, EcoSys, and Power BI, developing dashboards, assisting governance, and contributing to decision making, while benefiting from mentorship and a hybrid work culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in project controls, governance, and reporting.
• Exposure to P6, EcoSys, and Power BI.
• Structured PMO mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools.
• Support cost control activities, including data entry, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain project dashboards/reports using EcoSys, Power BI, or Excel.
• Participate in document management and governance activities in line with PMO standards.
• Gather/analyze project performance data to support decision-making.
• Assist in standardizing processes/workflows within the PMO framework.
• Support procurement tracking and reporting for project execution.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes, action logs, and follow-ups.

Overview

A motivated Project Controls Intern to support the team in managing project schedules, costs, and reporting. Provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience in project controls. Opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a fast‑paced environment.

Duration: We are currently seeking students available for a Winter 2027 co‑op placement . Opportunities are available for students seeking 4, 8, 12, or 16-month work terms , with placements beginning in January 2027 .

Location: Mississauga, ON.

Your role

• Assist in tracking project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools.
