Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Project Controls Reporting Analyst, (please note your title in our system will be Reporting Analyst) to join our team, based out of Saskatoon or Calgary. The Project Controls Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the development of digital reports and have the opportunity to work on multiple projects across Bantrel supporting our project controls team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Executing the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT)reporting process for the designatedprojects.
- Sourcing data from the IPMT team and the contractors, assembling required reports, coordinating reviews and approvals by the IPMT management and timely submission within required deadlines and quality requirements.
- Coordinating the review by the IPMT team of reports and data provided by the Contractors and third parties and collating feedback by the required IPMT members on conformance with contract requirements to support timely responses.
- Analysing data and providing feedback to the relevant IPMT team members on non-conformance with contract requirements, trends and outliers.
- Responsible for the development of digital reports through definition of report output specs, utilizing Power BI and championing the use of digital reports in the team.
- Supporting the data needs for key meetings of the team and the program.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and data management
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Engineering, construction, business or finance degrees is desirable. Construction, project management or project controls related qualifications is desirable. 5 - 7 years equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Fluent in using Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPoint and Microsoft Forms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Measures, and DAX
- Familiar with ETL concepts, Relational Databases, Data Warehousing
- Previously held position(s) with responsibility for planning, estimating, cost control, data analysis or reporting on mining projects of similar scope, size and complexity.
- A general understanding of engineering and construction procedures, principles, and concepts.
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large mining projects. Ability to communicate across different technical disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
