Summary

The Project Controls Analyst I will help ensure regional consistency in alignment of service quality with the goal of continuous improvement in service delivery through oversight for governance, quality, and data integrity through internal audit functions. The candidate will assist in the continued monitoring of compliance with the Service Delivery Regime (SDR) and related Project Delivery Services (PDS) processes / methodology as well as perform analysis to ensure PDS quality and data control. The role also involves benchmarking and comparative analyses to identify gaps and trends in order to drive value. Participation in the monthly Program of Projects (POP) review meeting with Public Service Procurement Canada (PSPC) and / or other Government Departments (OGD), take minutes and distribute to all participants to ensure consistency and proper management of issues and escalations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the Senior Project Director to ensure contract wide compliance with SDR and processes
  • Report on data from Project Controls Analyst (PCA) on regular basis to provide Sr. Director with up to date trending and actionable items
  • Monitor documentation sent to PSPC
  • Track timelines and outstanding approvals of documents
  • Participate in monthly project review meetings to take minutes, track ongoing issues and escalation items
  • Work with PCA II during monthly billing exercise to ensure compliance to the SDR and Milestone Billing rules
  • Regular monitoring and trending to KPI deliverables
  • Prepare reports, follow-up on key initiatives, maintain & update documentation and perform other clerical duties
Skills & Knowledge
  • College diploma in a related discipline with 1 to 3 years demonstrated experience
  • Strong computer skills, highly proficient with MS office and Excel skills, with advanced working knowledge on customized excel reporting, pivot tables and formatting.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $52,864 - $66,080 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
