Stantec seeks a Project Controller for its Canada East Transportation team in Markham, Ontario. You will work closely with Project Managers and leadership to provide financial and change management support on scope, schedule, and cost throughout project lifecycles.
The role spans conceptual to construction phases in multi-discipline projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and monitoring financial risks.

Our Canada East based Transportation Business Line has a need for a Project Controller in a full-time permanent capacity, based in one of our offices in southwestern Ontario (Markham, Mississauga, Hamilton, and Waterloo). As Project Controller you will be working closely with the team of Project Managers and Leadership in the Transportation Business Line to provide financial and change management support on scope, schedule, and cost throughout the life cycle of projects. Our projects are multi-discipline, engineering, water, landscape architectural, planning, etc. that can include some or all the following project phases: conceptual, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction phases. As a project controls professional at Stantec, you will utilize your expertise in financial planning, scheduling, cost controls, communications, and problem solving in a fast-paced, professional environment to assist the Transportation team with project delivery and program development.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario-$58,400.00 - $81,800.00 Annually
Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$61,900.00 - $86,700.00 Annually
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
