Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking a Project Controller for EPCM roles in Montreal, QC. You will support project managers with supervision and control, and oversee schedules, budgets, change orders, risks, and reports across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 7–15 years in project control, strong Excel and Primavera P6 skills, and is bilingual in English and French. This position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities in mining, energy or heavy industry sectors.

Qualifications

• From 7 to 15 years of relevant experience in project control.
• Practical knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Practical knowledge of project control software.
• Bilingual (English and French – spoken and written).
• Good writing abilities in both English and French.
• Asset: knowledge of Prism G2 Suite modules.
• Asset: experience on international projects.
• Asset: experience in mining, energy or heavy industry sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with supervision and control and assess project progress and performance using reliable performance indicators.
• Produce project control deliverables, and supervise all activities related to the schedule, the budget and costs, the scope of work, change orders, risks, trends, resource planning, variances, billing, etc.
• Produce or ensure that project execution plans and procedures are developed and updated.
• Produce or supervise the development of required analyses and reports and present them regularly.
• Stay in regular contact with project managers, project teams and clients.

• Worked on all phases of a project lifecycle
• Able to analyze problems and have advanced knowledge of Excel

• Asset: practical knowledge of the modules in the Prism G2 Suite
