Job description

Help Bring Ambitious Ideas to Life

At Westeck, we've spent more than 25 years saying "yes" to projects and challenges others couldn't handle. We design and manufacture custom windows, doors, and patio openings for homeowners, builders, architects, and designers who demand something extraordinary.

Our mission is simple: to imagine and make spaces that feel bigger, brighter, and unafraid. We achieve that by listening first, thinking creatively, and finding solutions that turn bold visions into reality. Every project is custom. Every customer is unique. Every challenge is an opportunity to do something exceptional.

We are looking for a relationship-driven Project Consultant to join our outside sales team in Edmonton, AB. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing innovative solutions for custom projects, and helping customers transform ambitious ideas into exceptional spaces.

As a Project Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, builders, contractors, and industry professionals, helping them select products that align with their vision, performance requirements, and budget. From the first conversation through project completion, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving growth for your territory.

What You’ll Do
Build Relationships and Grow Your Territory
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building.
  • Establish trust with homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and contractors.
  • Maintain and grow long‑term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral business.
  • Represent Westeck's brand and commitment to exceptional customer experiences throughout every interaction.
  • Maintain an active presence in the showroom as part of a scheduled rotation, while balancing office and field‑based customer engagement.
Consult, Advise, and Sell
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer goals, project requirements, and design aspirations.
  • Recommend customized window, door, and patio opening solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that communicate value and performance.
  • Address customer questions and concerns with confidence, professionalism, and a consultative approach.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and successfully close sales opportunities.
Manage Projects from Start to Finish
  • Guide customers through the project lifecycle from initial consultation to final delivery.
  • Review specifications, drawings, and project details to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support quoting, order processing, scheduling, and project execution.
  • Conduct site visits as required and support customers with warranty and service‑related matters.
Be a Product and Industry Expert
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Westeck's products, capabilities, and manufacturing processes.
  • Stay current on building codes, energy‑efficiency requirements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Educate customers on product options and help them make informed decisions that support their project goals.
What You Bring
  • Experience in outside sales, account management, project sales, or a customer‑facing consultative sales role.
  • Post‑secondary education in marketing, communications, sales, or business preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong relationship‑building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and business software.
  • Knowledge of windows, doors, construction, building products, architecture, or related industries is considered an asset.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel throughout your territory.
Why Westeck?
  • Join a company known for innovation, craftsmanship, and solving challenges others won't tackle.
  • Work with premium, custom‑built products that create lasting impact.
  • Be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, accountability, and success.
  • Help homeowners, builders, and designers bring ambitious ideas to life.
  • Grow your career with a company that continues to invest in its people, products, and future.
What’s in it for you?
  • Financial stability with a guaranteed salary in your first 12 months.
  • Uncapped earning potential through competitive base plus commission compensation plan.
  • Car allowance and company fuel card to support growing your territory.
  • Comprehensive health & wellness benefits, including extended health, dental, vision, disability & life insurance coverage.
  • Employer RRSP matching of up to 4% to help plan your future.
