Job summary

Sense Engineering in North Vancouver is seeking a detail‑minded junior engineer to assist in building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations while supporting project coordination and successful delivery.

You will liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants, prepare evaluation reports and construction documents, and participate in client meetings and networking functions to build strong relationships and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
• Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset
• Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Client-centric mindset
• Team player eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives
• Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation required
