Day in the Life

A day in the life of the successful candidate will be dynamic and hands‑on, working closely with the plant maintenance team to drive key maintenance and safety initiatives. The candidate will begin by spearheading the creation of a comprehensive plant inventory, establishing child assets within each facility to enable accurate cost allocation and tracking. From there, they will lead the rollout of 6S practices across the plants—starting with West Toronto—ensuring proper labelling, documentation, and organizational standards are consistently applied. In parallel, the candidate will provide critical safety assistance by developing and documenting lockout programs tailored to each plant, as well as drafting confined space procedures to strengthen compliance and protect workers. Each project contributes to building a safer, more efficient, and well‑documented operational environment.
