A nonprofit environmental organization is seeking a Project Analyst – Sustainability and GHG Reporting. This role involves supporting project deliverables, conducting emissions calculations, and analyzing data for climate strategies. The ideal candidate has a degree in Environmental Science or related field, with 2–5 years of relevant experience. This is a remote, full-time contract position lasting five months, with a collaborative team culture and opportunities for growth.

Reporting to the Manager, Professional Services Projects, the Project Analyst – Sustainability and GHG Reporting will play a key role in supporting the implementation of project IGNITE deliverables, including emissions calculations, reporting, and decarbonization strategies. This contract position works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the management of government‑funded projects and contributing to the overall success of ECO Canada’s Professional Services offerings, such as Life Cycle Assessment.
All activities will be geared to implementing project‑related activities and identifying new opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation for growing ECO Canada’s Professional Services offerings.
While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team‑based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.
This is a remote, 5‑month full‑time contract position, with a 3‑month probationary period upon the start date.
