Valard Construction is seeking a Project Accountant for the Transmission group, based in Calgary or Edmonton, AB. You will perform full life-cycle accounting, cost control, and reporting to support project profitability and client billing.
Working with the Project Controller, Project Managers, and field operations, you will track costs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Valard's financial controls. Prior project accounting experience in construction is preferred.
Our Transmission group is currently looking to add a Project Accountant to our growing team, based in either Calgary or Edmonton, AB.
Reporting to the Project Controller, this role is a key contributor to the financial success of Transmission Line construction projects, providing full life-cycle accounting functions and operational cost control for assigned projects. Working in close partnership with the Project Controller, Project Managers and field operations, this position is responsible for the accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of project costs from job setup through to closeout, and plays a critical role in maintaining budget integrity, supporting client billing, and ensuring compliance with Valard's financial controls and reporting standards.
