Job summary

MPI, a Hamilton-based construction management company, is seeking a Project Accountant to manage financial reporting and budgeting for complex construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers to monitor costs, fill financial gaps, and support month-end close.

Experience in construction finance and proficiency with CMIC/Jonas/Procore are preferred. This on-site role offers a competitive CAD salary, benefits after 3 months, and a vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial management within construction or real estate.
• Familiarity with on-site project operations and site-based finance.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting and cost tracking.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data.

Responsibilities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• Experience in financial management within the property or construction industry.
• Familiarity and comfortability with on-site project operations.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in CMIC, Jonas, or Procore.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
