Job summary
Crosstown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Edmonton, AB is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician (3rd Year) to join our busy service team. You will perform oil changes, tire services, and multi-point inspections, and you will present findings to the Service Advisor as part of a fast-paced dealership environment.
Candidates should have experience with oil changes and tires, basic computer skills, and dealership shop experience.
Qualifications
- Traditional Apprenticeship or Motive Power grads welcome.
- Oil change and tire experience is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and shop/dealership experience.
- Must possess a valid Canadian Driver's license and a safe driving history.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil & filter changes.
- Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and related services.
- Perform complete multi-point inspection on vehicles and present findings to Service Advisor.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
- Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other items.
- Inspect motors in operation, road test, and test systems to diagnose faults.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts including fuel system, brakes, steering & suspension, engine & drive train, emissions, and electrical systems.
