Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Specialist to provide direction, design, development, and testing of customized Salesforce solutions. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to ensure solutions meet Government of Canada standards, including accessibility guidelines. This role involves designing wireframes, troubleshooting, and creating technical documentation while supporting the team with best practices and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction and advisory services on the development and enhancement of Salesforce solutions;
- Design wireframes, composites, and mock-ups for Salesforce solutions;
- Participate in team reviews;
- Verify accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data and testing them by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel;
- Test instructions, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming and operating instructions to document Salesforce solutions for later modification or reference;
- Assist in the development of training documentation and provide training when requested;
- Follow Government of Canada accessibility guidelines and standards;
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform;
- Design, maintain, code, configure, test and implement Salesforce applications;
- Create custom workflows;
- Create timelines and development plans;
- Assist in all aspects of solution testing and testing documentation, including unit testing, performance testing, stability testing, functionality testing;
- Maintain project artifacts in project repositories and source control systems;
- Conduct technical workshops;
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs;
- Produce technical documentation;
- Participate in user group meetings and answer technical questions from clients;
- Help educate the team with technical best practices;
- Conduct knowledge transfer;
- Develop and deliver relevant training material;
- Prepare and deliver presentations to CDO authorities;
- Implement accessibility improvements to web content (pdfs, primarily), but also for websites, web applications, and other web content (multi-media and social media) across the organization using manual and automated techniques, including preparation, execution, defect tracking, remediation and closure, and initiating any corrective action as appropriate.
Mandatory Criteria:
- MUST demonstrate that the proposed resource meets the minimum level 2 experience (minimum 60 months and up to 120 months of experience) required for an Application/Software Architect (A.1) as per the TBIPS Supply Arrangement.
- MUST demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience architecting, configuring, deploying, and administrating a Salesforce solution within the last 48 months at the time of bid closing.
- MUST have active Canadian security clearance.
