McMan is currently looking for a Program Supervisor for our Hope Homes program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, thrive in a fast-paced group home environment, and show a genuine passion for supporting children, youth, and their families.

Hope Homes is a Scattered Site, Recovery Oriented Supportive Housing program that assists 24 moderate to low complexity youth in finding safe and stable housing options and offers individualized support for youth of 17-24 years who are experiencing homelessness. Hope Homes focuses on building on natural supports and community resources that assist with success in life areas leading to successful transition from the homeless serving system of care (HSSC) within 12- 18 months.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating all general aspects of the program (hiring, training, leadership, supervision of staff, community partnerships, financial management, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting). The Program Supervisor will also ensure that all program goals and objectives are maintained and developed according to contract guidelines, as well as adhering to McMan's values and service delivery framework. The Program Supervisor provides oversight to all service delivery aspects of the program including case management, crisis support, safety planning and intervention services to clients in the program. The Program Supervisor will work with the Program Manager to achieve program and organizational direction and serves as an integral member of the leadership team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A completed degree/diploma in Social Work, or a related Human Services discipline
  • 5+ years of leadership experience and experience managing a dynamic team utilizing reflective supervision
  • 3+ previous program delivery experience in a similar program environment
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge of Indigenous history, language and culture
  • The ability to hire, train, evaluate, motivate, mentor, coach and develop a successful staff team
  • Knowledge of the Natural Supports Framework and Trauma Informed Practice Framework
  • Experience and knowledge related to High Fidelity Wraparound and DBT skills to strengthen coping strategies (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge and competence in working within partnerships and collaborations
  • Guiding team member in recognizing and responding to trauma-related behaviours with sensitivity and understanding, emphasizing safety, cultural connectedness, and relationship development
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, program planning experience and administrative abilities
  • Be able to work a flexible and fast paced schedule and the ability to be on an on-call rotation within the organization.
  • Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training
  • A current Police Check and Child Intervention check are also required (within six months)
  • A valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage ($2 million in third-party liability)

Salary Range: $67,159.00- $74,621.00
