The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Front-Line Worker (PSCW) to support clients and operate a residential facility. You will handle admissions, intake, case triage, and provide wrap-around supports to help clients access housing and maintain stability.
Role requires collaboration with program staff, management, and partner agencies, with emphasis on confidentiality, communication, and empathetic client engagement.

To support clients and operate residential facility, through: Clients admissions, intake processing, case triaging, primary support case work, referral and clerical duties. Provide clients with encouragement and access to wrap around supports that ultimately lead to getting housed and staying housed.
The purpose of the expectation Job description is to identify and clarify what management expects from the incumbent. Expectations may change year to year and both parties should use the annual performance appraisal to determine realistic and equitable goals and outcomes for the upcoming performance year.
PSCW workers manage regular contact with: Shift partners, aftercare staff team, residential and case clients, Immediate supervisory staff, management team, regional government reps, partner/community agency representatives, client contacts (as appropriate), other internal S.A. facilities staff members.
The Salvation Army's (TSA) Criminal Background Check policy stipulates that a criminal background check is required for all new employees. It must also be completed for volunteers who will be in a position of financial trust or authority. Additional screening is required for employees and volunteers who will work with vulnerable persons.
The target hiring range for this position is $22.05 to $22.05 with a maximum of $22.05.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
