A leading educational institution in Canada is seeking a Program Officer to support departmental leadership during a maternity leave. The role involves overseeing ongoing projects, promoting departmental initiatives, and providing research and grant support. The ideal candidate holds a university degree related to Biomedical Engineering or STEM, with prior experience in a university setting. Under the direction of the Chair of Biomedical Engineering, the Program Officer will play a key role in supporting departmental leadership. This interim position ensures continuity during a maternity leave period and contributes to the department’s mission of promoting research, collaboration, and innovation. The Program Officer will have the following responsibilities:
