Our client has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to search for the Program Manager / Sr. Project Manager – CONTRACT.

ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR & Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complemented by leading edge open‑source HRIS software.

The Program Manager / Sr. Project Manager – CONTRACT will be responsible for leading an end‑to‑end Fund Accounting Conversion including:

• Working with the key stakeholders, our clients product group, client, business participants, and project team to define scope and objectives for the project
• Collaboratively build a project plan with underlying work packages, critical dates and milestones, and identified risks and issues
• Collaborate with Business Partner Integration teams to help shape and execute the plan
• Define, scope and provide leadership on the data conversion and migration plan
• Define, scope and provide leadership to the activities associated with the model office and test team
• Set up and manage Project Governance model as defined by the SunGard Partner and key stakeholders
• Project reporting including progress against plan, budget, and Steering Committee reports
• Ensure Operational Readiness is achieved before launch
• Effectively handle project issues and resolve challenges as part of everyday leadership

Requirements

• Solid Fund Accounting background (8+ years)
• Fund accounting experience must be current, i.e. not someone who did this 5 or 10 years ago
• Knowledge of SunGard Asset Arena Investment Accounting (AAIA) an asset but not essential
• Solid understanding of Canadian Fund Accounting Requirements and Regulation – Needs to know big picture, not necessarily detail level knowledge
• Demonstrated PM experience leading mid to large sized teams deploying Wealth Management / Fund Accounting related projects (PMP PgMP as an asset)
• Demonstrated Communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
• Professional demeanor and comfortable working with a cross section of people at different levels in the organization and with 3rd party partners
• Flexible with the ability to see the big picture
