The Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s Commercialization & Partnerships unit, positioned within the Office of the Vice Dean, Research & Health Science Education, serves a vast community of scholars and trainees. This newly established unit aims to advance the Faculty’s commercialization, entrepreneurship and partnerships initiatives. By offering transformative training programs, fostering strategic partnerships, implementing effective commercialization strategies, and nurturing an entrepreneurial culture, the unit seeks to amplify the impact of medical discoveries originating from the faculty.
The Program Manager, Lab2Market Health Hub will collaborate closely with the Director, Commercialization & Partnerships to lead the planning, development, and delivery of a range of entrepreneurship and commercialization programs and initiatives within the Lab2Market Health Hub. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on implementation, driving activities that build and strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and identifying strategies to generate new business, funding, and partnership opportunities. The Lab2Market Health Hub, an integral component of Canada’s national Lab2Market network, is housed within Temerty Medicine’s Commercialization & Partnerships unit. Its mission is to deliver experiential, practitioner-led training that equips students and researchers with the innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship skills, competencies, and mindset needed to transform health research discoveries into impactful, real-world solutions.
