Job Description

In order to continue to meetregulatory obligationsand support ATB's 2030 strategy, particularly ATB Business Solutions' financial services goals and additional revenue streams throughBIN sponsorships,a modern,robust transaction monitoring applicationis necessary.Implementationof thenew transaction monitoring applicationwill ensure thatAMLcan meet all current as well as new upcomingFINTRAC regulatoryrequirements. The ATB AML team must ensure the ability to import and incorporate required data and submission of accurate reports in a timely manner, due to updated FINTRAC reporting obligations.

Project Description

TheAML Compliance teamrequires a newTransaction Monitoring Application (TMA), in order to meet ATB’s regulatory obligations under the Proceeds of Crime(Money Laundering) andTerrorist Financing Actand associatedRegulations.Thenew applicationmustalign with current and upcoming regulations, as well as be able to adapt to the ever changing world offinancial crimeand how clients conduct transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.
  • Identify and confirm Program approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.
  • Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.
  • Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required.
  • Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
  • Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.
  • Liaise with program stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship, including internal stakeholders as well as vendors and consultants.
  • Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Work with other program and project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects.
  • Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects.
  • Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies.
  • Report key metrics to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage Vendor relationships and deliverables.
