Junior Naval Architect
Position Summary
Thales Canada is looking for a Junior Naval Architect to support its Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy.
Working as part of the Naval Architecture Team, the successful candidate will support intermediate and senior engineers in the assessment, design, implementation, and documentation of repairs, redesigns, testing, and management of ship structure, lifting appliances, and marine outfitting. Responsibilities will include engineering work related to weight management, stability, deck equipment and outfitting, lifting appliances, and ship structure.
Through mentorship and practical experience, the candidate will develop skills in structural design and repair, engineering analysis, technical investigations, and engineering change management while contributing to safe, reliable, and maintainable solutions that meet customer, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Regulatory Compliance Requirement
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $70,000 - $80,000 -$90,000 CAD Annual.
