We have an immediate opportunity for a Program/Contract Manager in the Los Angeles County area. This position requires working two or more days in the office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to manage from start to completion an infrastructure replacement project
  • Responsible for defining the scope and cost of projects which include negotiations to secure agreement
  • Responsible for reviewing contracts for acceptable terms and negotiating changes as appropriate
  • Communicate daily (in person, on calls, and email) with variety of personnel in support scope, schedule, budgets, and coordination of vendor field activities which include technical discussions
  • Maintain and present project status reports for projects to ensure financial progress and track project milestones
  • As a Contract Manager, will be responsible to interpret interconnection agreements under the CAISO, WDAT, and Rule 21 to identify infrastructure replacement requirements
  • Understand contract terms governed by FERC and CPUC to ensure project scope aligns with regulatory requirements
  • Partner with contract team
  • Attend field job walks as required
  • Monitor contract expirations and contract renewal, where appropriate
  • Integrate complex negotiation terms leading to the establishment of appropriate terms and conditions
  • Ability to understand risk and escalate when required with stakeholders.
  • Special projects, as requested
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, technical disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
  • 5 or more years in program or contract management and working with utility contracts
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and manage relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
