A community support organization located in British Columbia is seeking a Supportive Housing Front Desk Worker. This role involves providing a safe environment within a housing program while actively engaging with tenants to handle inquiries and complaints. Successful candidates will have a strong service ethic, adaptability to change, and a willingness to work with diverse backgrounds. Must have Grade 12 education and some related experience. The position offers a competitive wage within the range of $19.23 to $19.61 per hour with opportunities for growth.

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Supportive Housing Front Desk Worker will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment in the supportive housing program and responding to tenant inquiries and complaints in accordance with the program plan, contractual agreements, Salvation Army standards, best practices and identified tenant needs. They will report directly to the Program Supervisor.
Governance Boards and Councils: None
Internal: tenants of supportive housing, staff, and volunteers
External: guests of supportive housing, community members and community groups / organizations.
The performance of the job requires continuously monitoring the environment, frequently interacting with tenants, attentive listening, and moderate attention when recording information.

The salary range is based on the Collective Agreement, not any other factors.
The target hiring range for this position is $19.23 to $19.61 with a maximum of $19.98. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
