Job summary

Health Standards Organization (HSO) in Toronto offers a full-time role as Consultant Technologist within the IQMH Centre for Proficiency Testing. The CT analyzes lab data, prepares reports, and supports scientific committees.

You will work hybrid in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment focused on quality and standardization. The role requires an MLT with CSMLS and CMLTO in good standing, plus 6+ years of clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• General Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) from an accredited program.
• Successful CSMLS certification.
• CMLTO in good standing.
• Minimum 6 years of clinical laboratory experience as an MLT.

Responsibilities

• Align PT activities with ISO/IEC 17043 standards.
• Plan, design, deliver and manage PT surveys for laboratories.
• Prepare reports and coordinate PT-related meetings (Scientific Committee, PAC, audits).
• Monitor electronic records of participating laboratories’ performance and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with Scientific Committees to support best practices and publications.
