Job summary

Gestal, based in Mirabel, Quebec, seeks a Design & Integration Professional - Fuselage Structures and Doors to join our Fuselage & Doors Design team. You will develop technical solutions and present them at reviews, while managing engineering documents (2D, 3D, reports) and coordinating with cross-functional partners.

This role focuses on producing quality deliverables, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting final assembly line and in-service aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Production and quality approval of documentation related to changes in the form of 3D models, 2D drawings, reports, presentations, parts lists, etc
• Interact closely with Technology, Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Testing and structures suppliers teams
• Directly support other engineering and operations departments
• Support design and program evaluation with partners and suppliers
• Monitor progress by integrating projects cross-functionally and ensure deadlines are met by producing quality engineering deliverables at the required time
• Apply knowledge to provide adapted solutions to a variety of technical problems of simple to complex scope and complexity, using a combination of proactive judgment and defined practices and procedures
• Constantly develop in a continuous improvement approach.

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Design & Integration Professional - Fuselage Structures and Doors to join our Fuselage & Doors Design team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the fuselage design, stress analysis, materials and processes, program, final line support teams as well as many others.

You will be part of the Fuselage Structures and Doors team responsible for developing innovative solutions for long-term product improvements, supporting the final assembly line and in-service aircraft while ensuring regulatory compliance of the product.

The team organization is established in such a way as to promote cross-functional collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as a designer-integrator will be to develop technical solutions, present them at various reviews, modify and approve engineering documents (2D, 3D, Reports) while managing stakeholders and mastering your project management.

Your challenges:
