Future Opening: Professional Private Duty In-Home Caregiver

Job Summary
We are looking for a Professional In-Home Caregiver to join our team immediately in Dover, PA! You will directly work with an 88‑year‑old gentleman who is primarily a companion care case, following a one‑on‑one care plan in his home. You will provide personalized and attentive care and build genuine relationships with those you serve. Prior Home Care, Dementia, or Hospice care experience is a plus. He lives with his son, his primary caregiver, but would like a bit of respite. Caregiver MUST possess 2+ years of stage 3 or above level of care. He is a fall risk.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; for the right caregiver, the hours may increase based on this client’s anticipated need and caregiver compatibility.
Pay rate: $13–$15 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
  • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, or assisting with personal care.
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
  • Give medications and immunizations.
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program or high school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of prior professional experience.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Competitive compensation.

Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle and cell phone. Caregivers, HHA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions must also speak English, have a clean arrest record, and a good driving record. Level 2 state background checks will be provided to all potential applicants.
