McDougall Energy is seeking a skilled Professional Delivery Driver for its Burford operation. This seasonal contract covers a night shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes safe transportation of products and strong customer service. The ideal candidate will hold a valid DZ license with at least 2 years of driving experience, and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete required documentation including E-logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and safety‑focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver in our Burford operation. This seasonal contract is a night shift, Monday to Friday schedule, with overtime available to meet customer needs. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe delivery of bulk product to client fleets, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Maintain inventory control of bulk product on truck
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation including E‑logs
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
• Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and dispensed from the truck

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $29.00 per hour plus shift premium
• Overtime available - paid after 44 hours

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a valid DZ license
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be a team player
• The ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Numeric ability and strong problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to travel
• Flexibility to work day or night shift, as well as continental or 4 on 4 rotation

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
