Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to join its water and wastewater design team in Burnaby, BC. You will contribute to planning, design, and construction projects, performing analyses, modeling, and reporting to support client goals.

The role requires a Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering degree, 4–8 years of relevant experience, and PE eligibility. MS Word and Excel proficiency, strong communication, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 4–8 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or eligible / meets requirements to apply for Professional Engineer designation.
• Strong engineering principles application including critical thinking and innovative techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment.
• Work on engineering planning and design projects.
• Prepare reports and develop plans and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for water and wastewater projects.
• Conduct system modeling and permitting analyses.
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and deliverables.
• Data entry and analysis for projects.
• Provide engineering services during construction.
• Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.

Compensation Range

$100,000 to $130,000 CAD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
