Job summary

Tree Island is seeking a Production Worker to support Machine Operators in a manufacturing setting. You will verify product quality, follow safety protocols, and help operate machinery. This role involves physical demands and contributes to safe, efficient production.

Compensation includes a base pay and night shift premium, with opportunities for overtime, benefits, and RRSP matching. Growth toward Machine Operator is encouraged through on-the-job progression.

Qualifications

• Must have manufacturing experience in an industrial setting.
• Minimum 2 years forklift or liftruck experience (10,000–17,000 lbs).
• Ability to pass a Mechanical Aptitude test for progression to Machine Operator.
• Ability to work outdoors in yard with heated liftrucks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Machine Operators at assigned stations (lifting/moving product up to 50 lbs, changeovers).
• Operate forklift and overhead crane as needed.
• Maintain production housekeeping (cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, painting, salting, vacuuming).
