What’s involved in the Production Operator role :

The Island Farms plant is looking for General Labor employees to support their manufacturing production department.

Working in a production environment, duties will include assisting machine operators in the day-to-day activities.

This is a 24 / 7 operation - candidates must have flexibility in their availability and able to work days, afternoons, and night shifts.

Food manufacturing environment will be loud and requires hearing protection, wearing a hard hat, and following all food and personal safety policies and Good Manufacturing practices.

Using a forklift and pallet jack

Operating big stand-still machines involved with dairy products processing, packaging, etc.

What you need to join our team :

High school graduate or equivalent

Able to follow standard operational procedures and work in a safe manner.

Physically fit with the ability to lift to 50 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Experience in Food and Beverage industry, highly preferred
