Job summary

Canduct Industries, a leading manufacturer of electrical insulation for cooling transformers, seeks a Production Worker for its London, ON facility. The role is 100% on site with multiple shifts (Days, Afternoons, Weekend Afternoons) and requires assembling kits, checking blueprints, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including woodworking.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented with reliable attendance.
• Basic math for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.
• Ensure parts are built to the blueprint specifications.
• Use tape measures and calipers for quality checks.
• Operate table saws, drill presses, hand tools to make parts for customers.
• Assemble parts with glue and adhesives.
• Assist with packaging goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely shipments.

Salary Range: CA$20.00 To CA$22.75 Hourly

Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. We are looking for a Production Worker in London, ON.

This position will be 100% on site at our facility in London, Ontario.

Shifts:

Opportunities available on Days, Afternoons and Weekend Afternoons.

Day shift from 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday to Friday or 5:30AM to 3:30PM Monday to Thursday
Afternoon shift from 3:30PM to 1:30AM Monday to Thursday.
Weekend Afternoon shift from 7:00AM to 7:00PM Friday to Sunday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.

• Using table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc., to assist in making parts for customers.
• Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives.
• Assist with packaging goods to be shipped.

• Adhere to the health and safety guidelines.
• Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time.Additional duties as assigned within your department.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in a woodworking environment.
• Ability to work in a team setting and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Great attendance is a critical requirement.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
• Basic Math skills – ability to measure and calculate.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
