A leading sustainable wood products company in Sault Ste. Marie is seeking a Production Technician to safely and efficiently produce MDF panels. Key responsibilities include using human-machine interfaces to control machinery, performing quality inspections, and completing maintenance. Candidates should have post-secondary education or relevant experience and a valid G2 license. This position offers a competitive salary of $58,855 plus shift premiums, along with an attractive benefits package.
Safely and efficiently producing MDF panels within parameters created for that specific product. A Production Technician is a crucial part of the operation with a great deal of responsibility in making product within specification, assuring quality, focus on machine efficiency to meet and or exceed our customer’s expectations. This position offers an attractive compensation package with a gain and profit-sharing plan, as well as an excellent Health/Dental and Pension Plan and very supportive team-based work environment. The starting rate of pay for the position is $58,855.00 per year plus shift premiums.
