Overview

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a Production Technician to perform tasks involving physical labor and operating a variety of hand and power tools. The Production Technician will be responsible for efficient assembly of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies. On the job training is provided.

Location

Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Dowling, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble products according to assembly manuals and drawings.
  • Report defects.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping.
  • Follow operating procedures, guidelines, and drawings to ensure that product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
  • Ensure that product quality requirements are always met.
  • Identify and use hand tools.
  • Provide feedback and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to the operation and improvement projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Safety conscious.
  • Accountable, dependable, and results-oriented.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, requiring manual dexterity and versatility.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
