Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads and inspects automotive parts
• Maintains cycle time in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Follows standardized work instructions and consistently aware of defects and quality alerts
• Ensures safety standards are maintained
• Performs general equipment maintenance functions, such as cleaning and basic mechanical and safety checks
• Utilizes Andon when encountering a quality issue or problem that hinders the completion of standardized work during cycle time
• Communicates effectively with your team
• Promotes principles of MOS and SPQP
• Follows and understands process documentation and customer specific requirements
• Completes documentation as required by the department
• Pursues continuous improvements of manufacturing processes and identifies cost reduction opportunities
• Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs
• Understands, promote and live Magna’s philosophies and Employee Charter
