Job summary

Central-Smith-Creamery in Sewlyn, ON is seeking a part-time Production Support to operate and maintain the production line while strictly following food safety and health guidelines. You will work under the Production Manager and contribute to safe, efficient production.

The role requires flexibility to cover mornings, afternoons, evenings, and holidays, with a focus on quality and safety, accurate basic calculations, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to product quality and safety standards.
  • Push, pull, lift, move and stack product on machines.
  • Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products.
  • Work on the production line and meet production targets.
  • Assist in other areas as needed.
  • Report issues to the supervisor on duty.
  • Maintain a tidy, clean work environment.
  • Follow GMPs and company policies.

Job description

Production Part Time Sewlyn, ON $19.60 CAD per hour

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, Production Support is responsible for working the production line as instructed and strictly following all food safety and health and safety guidelines. Production Support personnel operate and maintain the production line equipment in accordance with Company protocols.

Specific Accountabilities
  • Adherence to product quality and safety standards
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Willingness to try/ adapt
  • Maintain all aspects of our food safety program to ensure compliance with CFIA
  • Push, pull, lift, move and stack product through various machines
  • Monitor the assembly line and removing faulty products
  • Work on the production line and meeting production targets
  • Assist in other area where needed
  • Report any issues to the supervisor on duty
  • Maintain tidy, clean work environment
  • Follow policies and GMP’s
  • Other duties as require
Health and Safety Accountabilities
  • Must follow the protocols for attire and GMP’s when entering the manufacturing facility
  • Ensure uniforms are held to standard
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the Production Manager
  • Ensure Fragrance Free Policy is being followed
