Responsibilities
- Create and update purchase orders.
- Maintain status of purchase orders.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies between Finance and Supplier.
- Order spare parts to support small orders.
- Determine ship methods.
- Update scheduled ship dates.
- Communicate shipping schedule changes to sales.
- Return of non-conforming material to supplier.
- Maintain record of product scrapped.
- Coordinate rework/update of material.
- Create work orders.
- Assist Warehouse in product configuration before shipment.
- Manage inventory volumes to maintain safety stock level.
- Update NAR forecast.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Review and Approve TDN’s.
- Determine classification of product with Freight Forwarder.
- Request extension of part numbers in SAP.
- Advise Finance on new pricing.
- Review of revenue plan weekly.
- Review of sales Boms for approval.
- Review of in quarter backlog weekly.
- Provide schedule dates for SO’s.
- Daily review of delivery status on all orders.
- Contact Freight Forwarder for ETA.
- Approve freight invoices.
- Ensure timely shipment of product.
- Work with suppliers on quality issues.
- Contact component suppliers to expedite parts.
- Work with Engineering to approve new suppliers.
