You will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensure safe and on-time execution of the daily plan, and serve as the main point of contact for the production team.

The role requires supervising and coaching staff, handling conflicts, and maintaining production quotas and standards in a factory environment, including working in a unionized setting.

• Must be able to maintain quotas and production standards.
• Must provide supervision and coaching.
• May be confronted with conflictual situations.
• Regular use of factory computers, telephones.

POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Montreal location.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling all of Hood Packaging's day-to-day production operations for his shift. The incumbent of this position must ensure the execution of the daily production plan sent to him or her in the safest manner, on time and using all the resources required. He or she will be the main point of contact for his or her team for any issues related to the day-to-day activities on the production floor.
