A well-established organization with complex operational and supply-chain systems is looking for a Data Specialist to take ownership of the quality, consistency, and governance of critical business data. This role will serve as a central point of expertise for customer, supplier, product, material, financial, and operational master data across ERP and connected business platforms. You’ll work closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and other business teams to improve data processes, eliminate inconsistencies, and maintain a dependable single source of truth. The position combines hands-on ERP data administration with data governance, cleansing, systems integration, and continuous process improvement. This is an on-site role suited to someone who enjoys translating complex data requirements into accurate, scalable business processes.
Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience administering master data within enterprise ERP environments such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or comparable platforms, including customer, vendor, material, product, and financial data.
Practical experience with master data management, data governance, data stewardship, cleansing, validation, and maintaining consistent information across multiple interconnected business systems.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail, including the ability to identify data anomalies, duplicates, outdated records, and process gaps while maintaining high standards of data integrity.
Desired Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting data migration, database integration, software releases, ERP upgrades, or other projects involving the movement and synchronization of business‑critical data.
Knowledge of manufacturing or operational data structures, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), product information, supplier records, customer data, and cross‑functional data collection processes.
Exposure to financial master data, including the creation and maintenance of General Ledger accounts and Cost Centres within established corporate governance frameworks.
