Qualifications

What You’ll Get To Do:
  • Supervise and lead the workforce to achieve maximum production capability
  • Monitor operations to meet pre-established production and quality standards
  • Promote participation and ensure compliance with Group safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to investigate equipment failures and resolve issues as required
  • Coordinate shift activities with other supervisors to increase continuity of operations
Who we are looking for:
  • Ability to supervise and troubleshoot different kinds of technical, operational, quality and environmental issues
  • Working knowledge and technical understanding of cement manufacturing process and its equipment, process control systems, and lab systems
  • Understanding of the chemistry of raw mix, clinker, and cement
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays and overtime as required
  • Extensive plant/industrial knowledge – cement manufacturing background is desired
Work Environment:
  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
