Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Brampton is actively seeking a Production Supervisor to lead front-line teams and ensure daily and weekly production schedules are met. You will promote a safety-first culture, inspire engagement, and drive continuous improvement through collaborative leadership across shifts.

You will collaborate with FSQA, Reliability, and HR, participate in audits, resolve employee issues, and support payroll and scheduling duties to sustain high performance and engagement.

Reason for vacancy: Existing Headcount

Compensation: $62,000 – $91,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive

The above compensation reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leaf’s annual short-term incentive plan.

Snapshot Of a Day-in-the-Life

• Work closely with the team members to deliver winning results to meet both daily and weekly production schedules
• Participate in audits
• Resolve employee issues through counselling sessions, investigations or grievance meetings as needed
• Active participant in daily team meetings
• Collaborate with cross functional teams such as FSQA, Reliability, Human Resources
• Foster a positive employee relations culture by treating all employees with respect, listening to their concerns and provide a timely response where needed
• Facilitate safety talks and task observations
• Administration duties such as payroll, scheduling and shift reports
• Will be required to work on both FPP and PRM side of the plant as required.
