  • Support Cell Leaders in addressing employee performance or compliance concerns through MCI’s corrective action process.
  • Maintain compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and address labor relations matters appropriately.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading and supporting initiatives, Lean events, and “5S” workplace organization activities.
  • Allocate departmental resources effectively across workstations and ensure cross‑training and training records are current.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration to ensure manufacturing and safety processes are consistently maintained and improved.
  • Work with various teams to organize and implement recommendations or process/testing changes in order to comply with contractual requirements
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned to advance MCI’s business objectives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the transportation, automotive, or coach/bus industry.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience managing labor relations matters is an asset, with the ability to foster positive and productive workplace relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
