Description

Hello. It’s nice to meet you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place, because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started. So, if you’re driven to make an impact and bring your best to our tight-knit, people-first culture, we want to hear from you.

Are you ready for this?

Our production team is the beating heart of All Weather – a true community, where the skills and experiences of people like you, make us better. We come from all over the world and together, we’re building something pretty special.

Help keep production moving. Make an impact every day.

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy solving problems, coordinating moving pieces, and making sure things happen when they need to?

We're looking for a Product Scheduling Coordinator to join our Capacity Planning team for an 18-month term. In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping production on track by coordinating daily schedules, responding to changing priorities, and ensuring manufacturing teams have the information and documentation they need to get the job done.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with ERP systems, understands the importance of accurate scheduling, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Production Scheduling & Coordination

  • Execute daily production scheduling activities using our ERP system, ensuring production orders are accurately scheduled and released in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate add-on orders, cancellations, and scheduling changes, ensuring requests are processed promptly and communicated to the right people.
  • Monitor production schedules and respond to changing priorities, including manufacturing downtime, capacity constraints, and urgent scheduling requirements.
  • Review scheduling exception reports, identify potential issues, and make adjustments to keep production moving.
  • Monitor lead times, flag scheduling concerns, and elevate issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Work closely with Planning and Manufacturing teams to adjust production schedules and support operational requirements.

Manufacturing Documentation

  • Generate, organize, and prepare production documentation.
  • Ensure manufacturing paperwork is accurate, complete, and ready for distribution to the production floor.
  • Work with manufacturing clerks to resolve missing or incomplete production information.
  • Provide scheduling support and backup coverage across the Capacity Planning team, including cross-training on other scheduling functions.
  • Help troubleshoot scheduling and ERP system issues, working with IT to follow through on resolutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system improvements as required.
  • Contribute to lean initiatives and identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and efficiencies.
  • Use sound judgment, time management, and a sense of urgency to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable adapting when priorities change. You take ownership of your work, pay attention to the details, and understand how your role contributes to the bigger picture.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in production planning, scheduling, or material planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with an ERP system, such as Syteline, SAP, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of production scheduling, shop loading, and capacity planning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through, ensuring scheduling information and documentation are accurate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues, troubleshoot, and identify practical solutions.
  • The ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt in a changing environment.

These would be a bonus

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the window, door, or other complex assembly manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and production planning processes.

Why this role?

You’ll be part of a team that directly supports manufacturing operations and helps ensure production commitments are met. Every day brings new priorities and opportunities to problem-solve, collaborate, and make a difference.

If you enjoy a role where organization, accuracy, initiative, and teamwork matter, we'd like to hear from you!

What’s in it for you?

Our story

It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. More than 45-years later, we’ve grown into a group of companies still proudly serving residential and commercial customers across Western Canada. We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style. Our purpose to Never Stop Building is a testament to the character of our people, because we’re always striving and always looking for fellow “builders”, just like you. To learn more about our who we are and what we do, please visit us online at https://allweatherathome.ca/careers/

Diverse by design.

From day one, diversity has been our greatest source of strength. Today, we’re a company where 55 languages are proudly spoken, with the skill of an international community reflected in all of our products and services. We have people who’ve been with us for generations and we’re an open door to new comers, first timers and everyone in-between. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.

The ability to make an impact.

The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.

A culture of connection and care.

People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We view wellness as being about the whole person and have designed our programs to support physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing at work and in our lives outside of All Weather.

We make a difference.

We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
