Responsibilities
  • Perform Quality Core Tasks:
  • Perform Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) in response to internal non-conformances and customer complaints & escapes.
  • Non-conformance analysis to support reduction of non-conformances, rework, and scrap.
  • Coach / train hourly and staff personnel on Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) and problem solving as part of Site Quality Improvement / Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) initiatives.
  • Conduct product / process / workstation audits.
  • Support 3rd party / Customer audits.
  • Provide support for Operations.
  • To reduce non-conformances, scrap & rework to:
  • Reduce lead time
  • Improve On Time Delivery
  • Reduce cost
  • Support the One Safran Model, QRQC, 5S, TPM & Tool Life Management.
  • Support Continuous Improvement, PFMEA participation.
  • Support Industrialization Process – DVI / FAI planning.
  • Perform timely execution of QA Review and execute Add Info on NCR's raised in QIS.
Candidate skills & requirements
  • Mechanical engineering / Assembly / Machining / Manufacturing Engineering background with three years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and assembly / machining methods and include inspection techniques.
  • Ability to understand CNC / CMM programs and error-proofing methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills / aptitude.
  • Able to work in MS Office 2000 environment.
  • Familiar with QIS.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Salary: $78,100 to $97,600
