Job description

We are looking for a talented individual with experience and a passion to join our production management department. The Production Planning Co-ordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating between the supply chains and operations of the packaging production facilities and ensuring the overall safety, efficiency and optimization of supply and demand. They must be able to work effectively on their own, perform data analysis and have the ability to adapt and problem solve on a daily basis.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Planning and controlling production activities based on supply and demand cycles
  • Performing data analysis and designing a demand plan
  • Producing reliable forecast reports used to assist in determining the appropriate amount of supplies through cycles of high and low market demand and production targets
  • Using planning system and other methodologies to reduce cost in supply channels
  • Monitoring supply chains and forecasting supply and demand for companies
  • Building knowledge or relationships with companies in the supply chain to help them understand the driving forces further down the supply chain
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Coordinating and developing production targets with both the management and production frontlines
Qualifications
  • Completion of a college or university program in business, economics or equivalent work experiences in production and inventory management is required
  • 1-3 years of related work experience in commercial packaging industry is required
  • Previous experience in supply chain demand planning is an asset
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in marketing, pricing, forecasting, data analysis, and supply chain management
  • Exhibits the ability to be analytical and support analysis with data
  • Organized and efficient
  • Familiar with competitive information, customs and tariffs and global supply chain
  • Stay up to date on the latest products and materials in the industry, our competitors and market trends
  • Committed to excellence with demonstrated proficiency in fulfilling the responsibilities of the roles
Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel
  • Experience with data analytics tools
  • Familiar with accessing research, market, supply chain information and data
  • Familiar with production planning software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English in all formats, including documents, briefing notes, reports, presentations, marketing materials, product labels and packages, emails, etc.
  • Self-driven, proven ability to deliver on initiatives
  • fluent in English and Korean required
